GAZA (PIC)– The prominent Islamic Jihad leader Khader Habib has deplored Tuesday PA Arab and Muslim weak stands towards Israel’s declaration of Gaza Strip as “enemy entity” affirming that they were below expectations.
“I indeed regret the Arab and Muslim stands towards the Israeli declaration on Gaza and I feel that reactions of the Arab and Muslim Ummah regarding the Israeli declaration were below the Palestinian people’s expectations” affirmed Habib in statements he made to the Quds Press news agency Tuesday.
Although Habib wasn’t a bit fazed by the Israeli decision he affirmed that the inter-Palestinian political rift was the main reason behind the Israeli decision blaming the PA leadership in Ramallah city for persistently rejecting calls by Hamas for national reconciliation.
Yet Habib affirmed that no pressure whatsoever could force the Palestinian people into giving up and surrendering to the Israeli political agenda in the region.
He also urged Arab and Muslim Ummah to take their role and national and religious duties in defending the Palestinian people and in helping them retrieve their legal rights that were usurped by the Israelis over the past seven decades.
Furthermore the Islamic Jihad political leader warned of possible “humanistic catastrophe” in Gaza Strip if the international community remained idle towards Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinian people.
“Gaza Strip is a model in terms of steadfastness and resoluteness and thus it will prove that it was and still deserves to be a model for determination and steadfastness in the event the IOF troops decided to carryout a military adventure in the populated Strip ” said the Islamic Jihad leader.
