A number of Islamic Jihad leaders met on Sunday with an Egyptian security delegation in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Political bureau members of the Islamic Jihad Nafedh Azzam and Khaled al-Batesh met with an Egyptian delegation led by intelligence officer Sameh Nabeel at the delegation’s residence in Gaza.
The Egyptian envoy arrived in Gaza last week so as to keep tabs on the progress of national reconciliation and follow up on the dire humanitarian situation in the enclave.
