The Islamic Jihad Movement has strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces for raiding a reception held for ex-detainee Muhanad Jaradat on Monday in Silat al-Harithiya village west of Jenin in the West Bank.
In a press release Islamic Jihad said that elements from the PA preventive security stormed the ceremony and removed flags from vehicles belonging to leaders and members.
The Movement held the PA fully responsible for what it described as the acts of chaos that had been committed by its security forces during the reception.
It also called on all wise people in the Palestinian arena to intervene to protect the national relations against the irresponsible practices of the PA security apparatuses in the West Bank.
