KHAN YOUNIS (PIC)– The Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement on Saturday night vowed an “earthshaking” reprisal to the IOF assassination of three field commanders in Khan Younis south of the Gaza Strip.
The armed wing in a statement on the IOF raids said that the “Zionist enemy’s crimes would not pass unpunished”.
For its part the Islamic Jihad Movement affirmed that the new “Zionist crime serves as the biggest proof on the real Zionist evil and spiteful intentions against our people”.
It said in a statement that the Palestinians had no other option but to unite on the resistance program and to retaliate to Zionist aggressions.
Continuing to reject (inter-Palestinian) dialogue would deepen the rift that the “criminal enemy is exploiting to strike our people and resistance cadres” the statement underlined in reference to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas’s refusal to hold dialogue with the Hamas Movement.
The Islamic Jihad stressed that it would continue along the road of resistance regardless of sacrifices.
The Hamas Movement issued a similar statement in Khan Younis insisting that resistance factions had the full right to retaliate to the Israeli aggressions.
