Occupied Jerusalem (PIC)– As the British Mandate in Palestine was coming to an end the Zionist gangs began to escalate their terrorist attacks against the Palestinian civilians. Before April 1948 these attacks took the form of skirmishes but after that date they evolved into occupation of lands and the evacuation of the people from their villages.
The Zionist gangs started to create facts on the ground as a way of implementing their own vision of the ‘partition resolution’ passed by the UN General Assembly on 29 November 1947.
Simultaneously those terrorist gangs committed a number of massacres; the most notorious was the Dier Yassin Massacre. The concept behind such massacres was to terrify the civilians into abandoning their villages and lands.
Confronting the world and terrorizing the Palestinians
Thus the Zionists decided to pre-empt any attempt by the UN to annul or delay the implementation of the partition plan by launching their military campaign at the start of April 1948.
The Haganah launched Plan Dalet on 4 April 1948. The first operation of this plan was Operation Nachshon which lasted from 6th -15th April and resulted in the occupation of villages along Tel Aviv-Jerusalem road from local Palestinian militia by Haganah Giv’ati Brigade and other units.
The Zionist leader and first Prime Minister of the Zionist entity David Ben Gurion stated that Operation Nachshon cleared the way to New Jerusalem (West Jerusalem) by early April and cleansed Haifa Jaffa Tiberius and Safad from revolutionaries and all that while the British Mandate was still in force.
By these attacks the Zionists wanted to send a message to the United Nations which said that they were capable to implementing the Partition plan by force. Since then their terrorist attacks escalated resulting in seizing the Arab village of Kastal.
A disgrace
A few Jews including Author John Kemhi considered the Dier Yassin Massacre as the most disgraceful part in the Jewish history. However some Jewish leaders referred to it as a great victory which paved the way for the establishment of the Zionist State. Menahim Beigan the terrorist who lead the attack declared: “If it wasn’t for the victory at Dier Yassin there wouldn’t have been a State”. It was considered by Human Rights Organizations a deliberate massacre that was carried out for the mere purpose of terrifying the unarmed civilians.
The Dier Yassin massacre was followed by another two massacres on the 10th April in north of Palestine at Biet Khouri and Nasser Eddin Villages near Tiberius which resulted in the mass murder of 60% of the population of both villages.
During April and May 1948 and as the result of the attacks the Zionists were able to seize; Samakh and Tiberius 19th April 1948; Haifa and Jaffa 28th April Katmoon (in Jerusalem) 30th April Safad and Bisan 12th May and Acre 16th May.
To conclude; the Palestinian Territories were occupied by force due to the terrorist attacks carried out by Zionist Gangs 59 years ago. The occupation would have never succeeded if it weren’t for the naked collusion of the British and the shameful silence of the International Community.
In the process of creating Israel over 400 Palestinian villages were ethnically cleansed and destroyed at the hands of Zionist terrorists to create a state “as Jewish as England is English.”
In conclusion Israel was created through terrorism and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian population and is built on racist pillars. Even today in the 21st century there are still calls within Israel to transfer the remaining Arab minority who remained in their homes for fear of disturbing the Jewish purity of the country.
