The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening sealed off the access roads to the northern West Bank province of Qalqilya with flying checkpoints.
Reporting from Qalqilya a PIC news correspondent said the occupation forces closed off the northern entrance to the city with a makeshift roadblock resulting in traffic jam.
The Israeli military further sealed off the main entrance to Qalqilya’s eastern town of Azzoun with checkpoints blocking Palestinians’ access out of and into the area.
The measure comes as part of simmering Israeli crackdowns on Palestinians’ right to free movement across the occupied Palestinian territories.
