The Israeli occupation forces stormed overnight on Monday Azzoun town east of Qalqiliya in the northern occupied West Bank and set up makeshift checkpoints.
A PIC news correspondent said violent clashes flared up in Azzoun after the Israeli occupation forces rolled into the town and cracked down on the Palestinians.
The occupation army has closed off the main entrance to the town blocking Palestinians’ free movement inside and out.
Palestinian civilians choked on teargas during the clashes.
Israeli soldiers also sealed off the Jenin-Nablus thoroughfare near the access road to Jaba’ town south of Jenin with a military checkpoint and subjected Palestinian civilians and vehicles to intensive search and inspection.
