The Israeli occupation army on Tuesday said its forces on the border with Gaza arrested some Palestinian citizens as they were trying to cross into Israeli territory.
A spokesman for the army said that a group of Palestinians were subdued and detained after they tried to breach the security fence during the protests taking place near the Gaza border.
He added that all the detainees were taken in for interrogation without stating how many they were.
Israeli soldiers on Monday committed a massacre against unarmed Palestinian protesters rallying near the border fence in Gaza killing at least 61 of them and wounding more than 2270 others.
Scores of Gazans rallied on that day to protest the US embassy opening in Occupied Jerusalem.
