The Israeli occupation forces have tightened grip on and around Ramallah province in the central West Bank as they continue to chase down the perpetrator of the Ofra anti-occupation shooting attack.
Overnight Israeli patrols closed off Atara checkpoint north of Ramallah and ransacked commercial shops in the nearby Birzeit town seizing security cameras all the way through.
Several military vehicles were stationed near al-Jalazoun refugee camp. Soldiers also wreaked havoc on civilian homes in al-Dawayma neighborhood and closed off access roads to Ramallah with sand barriers.
The occupation forces blocked Palestinians’ free movement across al-Bireh and subjected vehicles and civilians to intensive searches.
