Israel’s war minister Naftali Bennett has ordered a ban on the transfer of Palestinian agricultural products to Jordan the Occupied West Bank’s only direct export outlet to the outside world.
Haaretz said quoting the so-called Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories that all Palestinian agriculture products would be banned from export to world markets through Jordan starting Sunday 9 February 2020.
The move is part of the sanctions that Israel has placed on the Palestinian Authority after the latter limited the import of calves from Israel. Last week Israel decided to stop agricultural imports from the Palestinian Authority.
