An official Palestinian report revealed on Wednesday that Israel demolished 48 Palestinian houses and facilities in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during February 2017.
The monthly report issued by the Anti-Settlement and Wall Resistance Committee pointed out that 29 demolitions were carried out in occupied Jerusalem while 13 were reported in Tubas three in Bethlehem two in al-Khalil and one in Salfit.
In February 2017 the Israeli authorities notified the demolition and halt-construction of nearly 111 houses and facilities and confiscated about 1046 dunums of Palestinian lands the report said.
According to the report the construction of 6090 settlement units was started in the West Bank in February and 68 other units were vowed to be built in Ofer settlement.
It also pointed to the Regulation Law that was enacted to support such settlement projects.
The report noted that Israeli settlers uprooted about 1100 trees in Nablus and Bethlehem bulldozed Palestinian lands and seized a room and a store in occupied Jerusalem.
