The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday demolished a Palestinian gas station under construction in Anata town northeast of Jerusalem.
Anata’s mayor Taha Ni’man said that three Israeli bulldozers accompanied by armed forces demolished a gas station owned by the Palestinian citizen Mohammed Hilweh.
The Israeli authorities claimed the facility is being built in Area C which is exclusively administered by Israel.
Ni’man said that the Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at the residents of Anata and ordered them to stay away from the gas station.
