The Israeli police demolished on Monday morning a house in al-Issawiya town northeast of Occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of building without a permit.
Since the morning hours the occupation police escorted bulldozers into al-Issawiya from its eastern entrance and surrounded the house of Hatem Abu Rayala before demolishing it.
The Israeli police were also deployed on the roofs of neighboring houses and prevented citizens from approaching the house during its demolition.
This is the fifth time that the Israeli municipality demolishes Abu Rayala’s house. At the same time it would not issue the necessary license for building the house.
The owner of the house suffers paraplegia. He had this injury in 2009 after he broke his spine when he fell while the occupation’s bulldozers were demolishing his home for the third time.
One week ago the occupation demolished a two-story residential building containing four apartments for Al-Aqsa Mosque guard Fadi Elayan and his family also in al-Issawiya.
