The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) imposed on Monday a hermetic closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip on the occasion of the Jewish holy day Sukkot.
The closure starts at noon Monday and ends at midnight Wednesday according to an Israeli army spokesman.
This is the third closure imposed on the occupied Palestinian territories this month the first was for Hebrew new year and the second was for Yom Kippur.
The IOA yearly imposes these closures during the Jewish holidays which badly affect the Palestinians in West Bank and Gaza Strip. In the West Bank thousands of Palestinian workers are deprived of going to work others face difficulties of moving between the cities due to the IOA strict security measures. In Gaza patients are deprived of travel for treatment in the West Bank or the 1948 Occupied Palestine (Israel).
