Heavily-armed Israeli patrols showed up at daybreak Friday in the vicinities of Beit El settlement illegally built on Palestinian land northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Hebrew-speaking news sites claimed that Palestinian gunmen fired gunshots toward Beit El settlement. No injuries were reported in the alleged shooting attack.
The Israeli army raked through Palestinian neighborhoods near the settlement in the hunt for the alleged gunmen.
