Israeli police on Tuesday banned a Palestinian woman from praying at al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—for six months.
Palestinian instructor Hanadi Hulwani said Israeli police issued an order barring her from entering al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of six months.
Hulwani said the ban signed by Jerusalem’s military commander was issued under the security guise.
Hulwani received the ban as she turned herself in to Israeli police at the Qishleh detention center west of Occupied Jerusalem after she was summoned to questioning.
On Sunday Palestinian instructor Khadija Khweis received a similar six-month ban while her daughter Shifaa received a 15-day ban from al-Aqsa Mosque.
