Israel reopens Karem Abu Salem crossing

The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) reopened on Monday Karem Abu Salem commercial crossing after being closed for three consecutive days.

Director of the crossing Naji Siyam said that Israeli authorities opened the crossing for 316 trucks laden with goods for the commercial and agricultural sectors in Gaza.

36 trucks laden with cooking gas diesel and gasoline for the commercial and transport sectors are scheduled to enter the enclave he pointed out.

As many as 17 trucks carrying grain and fodder and 100 trucks laden with food and goods will also be allowed via the crossing.

163 trucks laden with construction materials are expected to be allowed in according to him.

Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing for commodities destined to Gaza Strip.
