Israeli media sources revealed a new plan for the construction of 400 settlement units in Occupied Jerusalem.
Shemini Properties company has started promoting for 400 new housing units in Nof Zion illegal settlement the sources added on Wednesday.
“The new housing units overlook the most beautiful views of Jerusalem including the Mount of Olives and the Old City” the company says.
The plan will also include hotels and a commercial center.
Earlier last month Israel has announced plans to build more residences for Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem drawing immediate condemnation from Palestinians peace activists and neighboring Jordan.
The United Nations expressed its “grave concern” over Israel’s announcement stressing that “all settlements are illegal.”
Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem has continued under every Israeli government since 1967.
The UN has consistently made clear that it will not recognize any changes to the pre-1967 borders.
