Israeli Planning and Building Committee in occupied Jerusalem municipality approved on Wednesday the building of 640 settlement units in the holy city Harretz revealed.
The housing units are expected to be built in open Palestinian-owned land between the Ramat Shlomo settlement and the town of Beit Hanina the sources added.
The plan was scheduled to be implemented in 2010 before being rejected by the former US administration.
