Israel declared on Thursday the closure of Gaza crossings to celebrate Jewish holidays.
Other closures of the two crossings of Erez and Karm Abu Salem are expected later this month and in May also to celebrate Jewish holidays.
The Palestinian crossings department said that Israel closed both crossings on Thursday with no passengers or trucks allowed in or out of the besieged enclave.
The Israeli occupation authorities have been imposing a hermetic closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip over the past week to celebrate Pesach.
