The Israeli government is scheduled to form a new committee to legalize settlement outposts in the West Bank Israeli media sources revealed.
The committee would comprise 10 MKs of the government coalition and six MKs of opposition parties the sources explained.
The committee would be headed by MK Nissan Slomiansky (Jewish Home).
The Israeli Ministerial Committee for Legislation had approved on Sunday the so-called “land regulation bill.”
The international community repeatedly declared opposition to the Israeli construction of settlements in areas Israel occupied in 1967 saying it undermines the prospects of a two-state solution.
