Israeli Chief of the General Staff Aviv Kochavi ordered on Friday an increase in preventive military measures in the West Bank following the Tel Aviv shooting attack a day earlier.
Israeli army spokesman said that Kochavi held a morning meeting with senior military officers to grasp the country’s current security situation amid the rise of anti-occupation attacks.
The army will increase operational activity in the northern West Bank the spokesman said adding the Israeli forces will “increase defensive efforts” throughout the West Bank with the possibility of recruiting the reserve forces.
