Israel Hayom newspaper reported that Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) signed on Saturday a $200-million contract with a customer in Asia.
Under the new contract IAI will provide targeting and surveillance pods to the local air force. The contract will be carried out by ELTA Systems Ltd. a Group and Subsidiary of IAI the newspaper elaborated.
The contract signed is a follow-up order of the new generation of targeting and surveillance pods already used by the country’s air force it pointed out.
Joseph Weiss IAI president and CEO said “The new order serves as yet another evidence of the satisfaction and trust our clients place in the IAI’s systems and technological capabilities”.
