The Israeli Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Wednesday approved in the second and third readings a bill to deduct funds transferred to the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Israeli Channel Two reported that the deduction would be equal to the amount of funds the PA gives to the families of Palestinian martyrs and prisoners.
The committee also endorsed the law of deducting the losses of settlements located in the vicinity of Gaza Strip because of the burning kites from the PA’s tax revenues.
Two weeks ago the committee approved the law which was introduced under the law of deduction of financial funds transferred by the Palestinian Authority to the families of detainees and martyrs from the tax allocations that Israel transfers to the PA.
