Naji Sarhan the Palestinian housing and works undersecretary said that the Israeli attacks on Gaza over the past 11 days had completely destroyed 1800 houses and partially destroyed 16800 others.
Sarhan told a press conference at the Shifa hospital in Gaza City on Thursday that 120000 Palestinian citizens had been displaced in the aggression 50000 in shelters and 70000 in relatives’ homes.
He said that five residential towers were reduced to rubble while74 government buildings were destroyed along with 44 schools and three mosques. One church was damaged along with 40 other mosques he added.
