Gaza – Israeli warplanes devastated five Palestinian homes in the Gaza Strip in hysterical raids Wednesday night and early Thursday targeting alleged members in four Palestinian armed wings.
Local sources said that the shelling targeted the homes of five members of the Qassam Brigades (Hamas) Nasser Salahuddin Brigades (PRC) Quds Brigades (Jihad) and Ahmed Abul Reesh Brigades (Fatah) in different Gaza districts that left five Palestinians injured including two in serious conditions in Rafah.
The IOF command informed owners of the houses that their homes would be flattened and they had to evacuate them before being able to get out their necessary belongings. The raids came minutes after the warnings.
The missile raids also inflicted big damage to nearby buildings according to the sources.
The Israeli war minister Amir Peretz threatened severe reprisal to the Qassam missile attacks on Sderot on Wednesday that killed a settler and wounded around 12 others. The Qassam Brigades said that the attacks were in retaliation to the IOF bloody crimes against the Palestinian civilians in the Strip.
