The Israeli occupation army announced that it launched an airstrike on Saturday on a group of Palestinian citizens in the southern area of the Gaza Strip.
The army said in a statement that an Israeli warplane attacked Palestinian youths flying fire balloons toward Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said that the airstrike targeted a small vehicle east of Khan Younis city with no injuries reported.
Palestinian youths in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Great March of Return have launched dozens of fire kites and balloons over the border fence burning thousands of dunums of settler lands and causing heavy losses.
