The Israeli occupation forces have kept the Beit Einoun thoroughfare connecting Palestinian towns in al-Khalil province closed for the third consecutive day.
Israeli army patrols sealed off the access road with a metal gate blocking the access of Palestinian civilians and vehicles out of and into the area.
Trying to reach their homes and workplaces the Palestinian locals have been forced to pass through a distant road after the occupation forces closed off a checkpoint set up in the area on Tuesday morning following clashes between Palestinian anti-occupation youth and Israeli soldiers one among whom was allegedly injured.
