The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have intensified late Monday its military presence in Tel Rumeida town in al-Khalil to the south of West Bank.
According to the PIC reporter Israeli forces have deployed in large numbers throughout the olive fields in the town after declaring the area a closed military zone.
Palestinian residents were prevented from leaving their houses while gunshots were heard.
No injuries were reported so far.
