The Israeli occupation army on Wednesday morning bulldozed a vast tract of cultivated land belonging to a Palestinian citizen near Wadi Rahhal village in the south of Bethlehem.
Local official Hasan Bureijiya said that Israeli bulldozers escorted by soldiers razed about 10 dunums of land planted with olive saplings adding that the land belongs to a local resident called Ibrahim Abiyat.
In a separate incident Israeli forces on Tuesday evening handed Palestinian citizens on Tuesday stop-work and demolition notices against two buildings in Beit Surik northwest of Jerusalem.
According to local sources the Israeli army notified citizens of its intent to demolish a building under construction belonging to a women society and a house belonging to a local resident from Beit Surik.
