The Israeli occupation army on Thursday morning demolished three homes in Sa’ir town east of al-Khalil at the pretext they were built with no permits in Area C of the West Bank.
Local sources said that Israeli bulldozers escorted by soldiers stormed Wad ash-Sharq area of the town and knocked down three houses with three floors each belonging to local residents from the family of Jaradat.
They added that the Israeli forces assaulted the owners and their relatives and rounded up two young men as the bulldozers embarked on razing the homes.
The Israeli army also demolished on the same day makeshift homes and cattle sheds in impoverished Bedouin communities in al-Maarajat area in the north of Jericho City.
According to local sources Israeli forces razed and confiscated two residential tents and three cattle sheds belonging to the family of Odeh Kaabina near the Maarajat road between Ramallah and Jericho.
A similar demolition campaign took place in the Bedouin communities near the Taybeh checkpoint east of Ramallah.
Consequently several Bedouin citizens including children women and elderlies have become homeless and will suffer from the harsh weather and its scorching heat for a while before they manage to have new makeshift homes again.
Meanwhile a Palestinian citizen in Jit village east of Qalqilya received a stop-work order from the Israeli army against his unfinished house at the pretext of unlicensed construction. The house belongs to Samed Khader from the village.
