The Israeli occupation army has continued to close for the fifth consecutive day Thursday the Dotan checkpoint south of Jenin in the northern West Bank and obstruct the movement of thousands of Palestinian workmen and merchants.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the Israeli army continued to close the checkpoint overnight from 09:00 pm to 04:00 am and to impose very tight restrictions on the movement of individuals at other times.
The Dotan checkpoint is vital for thousands of Palestinian workmen and merchants who are forced to cross it on a daily in order to reach the Barta’a checkpoint before entering Israel (the 1948 occupied Palestinian lands).
