The Israeli occupation army on Sunday evening closed off the access roads to the West Bank and Gaza Strip on the occasion of the Jewish Passover holiday.
The closure is to remain in effect for one week so as to allow Israeli settlers to mark the seven-day Passover.
Other Israeli military patrols have been deployed across flashpoints and main entrances to occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Palestinians will be denied access out of and into 1948 Occupied Palestine (Israel) the West Bank and Gaza crossings all the way through the seven-day ban.
At the early morning hours the Israeli occupation authorities blocked off Beit Hanun (Erez) and Karem Abu Salem border crossings with Gaza. Families of Gazan detainees have also been banned from visiting their relatives in Israeli jails.
The Israeli police further banned a number of Islamic activists from al-Aqsa Mosque over alleged intents to disrupt order and stand on guard to Israeli break-ins at al-Aqsa place of worship during the Passover.
