An Israeli military court has extended the detention of a Palestinian girl child a resident of Bani Naim town in al-Khalil for several days.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs the Ofer court extended the detention of 16-year-old Jannat Zaidat for an additional five days at the pretext that her case was still under investigation.
The girl was kidnaped by Israeli soldiers on November 14 at a military checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil.
The soldiers accused her of intending to carry out a stabbing attack.
