The Israeli occupation army on Monday delivered a stop-work orderagainst a water tank under construction in Atouf hamlet southwest ofTubas province.
Local official Moataz Bisharat said that a local resident received a notice from the Israeli army’s civil administration ordering him to stop building a water tank to be used for agricultural purposes.
In a separate incident Israeli forces on the same day closed roads leading to Deir Abu Mash’al village northwest of Ramallah.
According to local sources Israeli army troops were deployed at the road barrier at the main entrance to the village and closed its western entrance with mounds of dirt and rocks.
As a result the local residents were unable to enter or leave the town aboard cars.
The Israeli occupation forces have been obstructing traffic in the area for long months.
