The Israeli occupation army demolished on Monday two homes in Khallet al-Eidah hamlet near Mount Jawhar in the east of al-Khalil City at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources Israeli bulldozers escorted by a large number of Israeli troops stormed Khallet al-Eidah and embarked on knocking down two homes belonging to local residents.
Local activist Aref Jaber said that the demolition measure rendered families of 12 individuals homeless.
The Israeli army also notified local residents in al-Badiya Bedouin community in Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil of its intent to demolish the elementary school of Khashm al-Karm.
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation authority in Jerusalem demolished a plant nursery in al-Jib town.
The Israeli police also assaulted and detained three young men from the town. Two of the detainees are sons of the nursery owner.
