The Israeli occupation army on Wednesday extended the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil for another week to Muslim worshipers.
Manager of the Islamic holy site Hifed Abu Sneineh said that the Israeli army extended the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque for another week after it had closed it for 13 days at the pretext of preventing the spread of coronavirus.
He affirmed that the Israeli occupation authority always uses flimsy pretexts to justify the Mosque’s closure in order to impose further control over the holy site.
