The Israeli army began military exercises in the areas surrounding the Gaza Strip on Monday morning simulating scenarios of war on the Strip.
The 0404 Hebrew site quoting an Israeli military spokesman said that “the maneuvers will continue until noon Tuesday and will take place in the settlement area adjacent to the southern border of the Gaza Strip.”
The area will witness an active movement of army forces accompanied by explosions and closures.
The Israeli army usually conducts ground sea and air maneuvers during the year aimed at preparing for the outbreak of war in the “North and South Fronts” and trains the army on how to evacuate settlers during wars.
