The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening said they rounded up a five-member resistance cell in Bethlehem province.
The Israeli army claimed the nabbed cell is specialized in throwing Molotov cocktails and homemade bombs on Israeli military and settler vehicles.
Members of the alleged cell were arrested in Ramon village in Ramallah and in Bethlehem’s Duheisha and al-Azza refugee camps on allegations of attempting to throw explosive devices at Israeli cars on the tunnel road leading to Occupied Jerusalem.
Hebrew sources further alleged that the arrestees have been involved in homemade-bomb-throwing near Beit Jala over recent weeks.
The occupation army also seized their cars under the same allegations and claimed the youths admitted having committed the alleged operations. A list of indictments will be filed soon to send the detainees to jail.
Up to this point the identities and conditions of the arrestees have been kept under wraps.
