The Israeli occupation army demolished on Wednesday a Palestinian children school in Masafer Yatta area south of al-Khalil.
According to local sources a bulldozer escorted by soldiers demolished the Asfi elementary school in the hamlet of Khirbet Asfi al-Fuqa in Masafer Yatta.
The school served dozens of Palestinian children from different villages and hamlets in Masafer Yatta.
The Palestinian ministry of education strongly denounced the Israeli army for demolishing the school describing the measure as one of Israel’s “heinous and reprehensible crimes against the Palestinian educational sector.”
