Monday 7-December-2020

The Israeli occupation army on Monday demolished two rooms in Bethlehem and notified Palestinian citizens in the northern Jordan Valley of its intent to remove their tents.

Local official Zayed Kawazbah said that the Israeli army razed two rooms built of bricks belonging to a local resident called Jaser Arramin.

In a separate incident the Israeli antiquities authority notified Palestinian citizens of its intent to remove their tents in Hamamat al-Malih area in the northern Jordan Valley at the pretext that they are located in an archeological area.

According to local official Aref Daraghmeh the tents were deployed in the area at the beginning of the current year and have been used since then to provide logistic services for the local residents.

On Sunday the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented Palestinian citizens from working their own lands in Atouf hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley.

According to local sources the IOF barred farmers from Atouf hamlet from reaching their agricultural lands and confiscated two bulldozers belonging to villagers from the family of Bani Odeh.
