The Israeli occupation army demolished on Thursday morning two structures belonging to Palestinian farmers in Masafer Yatta in southern al-Khalil at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources a crew from the Israeli army’s civil administration escorted by a bulldozer and military vehicles stormed Barouk area in the east of Yatta and demolished a room used for agricultural purposes belonging to farmer Azzam Abu Rajab.
The Israeli army also demolished a residential room belonging to another local resident in Za’tout area east of Yatta.
The Israeli army started recently to carry out large-scale demolitions and displace local residents in Masafer Yatta after the Israeli high court approved last May the forced expulsion of more than 1000 Palestinians from eight villages in this area which is located in the southern West Bank.
