Heavily-armed Israeli forces stormed on Sunday evening the Arroub refugee camp north of the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil and chased down Palestinian protesters.
According to local sources an Israeli patrol broke into the Arroub camp and sealed off its main entrance with a flying checkpoint allegedly after Palestinian anti-occupation youth stoned Israeli settlers’ cars.
Three military checkpoints were also pitched by the occupation forces on the access roads to Sa’ir and Beit Einoun towns where Palestinian civilians have been made to endure intensive inspection.
