The Israeli occupation forces late Monday evening set up a military checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Qalqilya province in the northern occupied West Bank and came down heavily on the Palestinian locals.
Clashes burst out shortly after the occupation forces rolled into Qalqilya and cracked down on Palestinian locals sparking terror in the area.
At the same time Israeli soldiers raided the nearby town of Gios and wreaked havoc on civilian homes.
Palestinian anti-occupation youth responded to the assault by hurling stones at a bus carrying extremist Israeli settlers near Azzoun town east of Qalqilya.
