Israeli army scours Hama takes pictures of Bedouin communities

Thursday 30-November-2017

The Israeli occupation forces at noontime Thursday stormed al-Hama area in the northern Jordan Valley and took snapshots of local communities in a move feared to pave the way for the evacuation of Palestinian Bedouins.

Activist Aref Daraghma said Israeli municipal crews escorted by heavily-armed soldiers took pictures of Palestinian structures and tents in Khirbet al-Hama in the northern Jordan Valley.

Sometime earlier the Israeli occupation authorities ordered the native Palestinian inhabitants of the area to leave their homes and gave directives to knock down all residential and agricultural facilities.

The move makes part of a preplanned scheme of ethnic cleansing aiming to wipe out the inherently Palestinian character of al-Hama home to 20 Bedouin families whose survival hinges on agriculture and sheep grazing.
