The Israeli occupation army on Thursday scoured the northern Jordan Valley as they chased down Palestinian anti-occupation youths who allegedly stole a machinegun from an Israeli military camp.
According to the Hebrew-speaking 0404 news site Palestinian youngsters crept into an Israeli training camp in the northern Jordan Valley and seized a machine gun of the Mag brand along with a bullet box.
The Palestinian youths are believed to be natives of the Tayaseer town or other surrounding villages adjacent to the Kfir Brigade’s drilling base.
The occupation army combed Palestinian towns and villages in search for the anti-occupation youths.
The abrupt manhunt sparked panic among Palestinians living in the area.
Israeli sources meanwhile raised concerns that the seized machinegun would be used in anti-occupation attacks.
