Israeli army sets up another gate at main etrance to Kharsa village

Tuesday 1-May-2018

The Israeli occupation army on Monday deployed a new swing gate at the main entrance to Kharsa village south of al-Khalil city just two months after it set up two gates in the same area.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops erected using a crane a third iron barrier on the main road to Kharsa village west of Dura town in al-Khalil.

They said that the new roadblock is part of an Israeli plan to place five gates or barriers in the area to isolate about 15 Palestinian villages west of Dura town.

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) announced last month its intent to build new housing units buildings and roads to expand the illegal Jewish settlement of Negohot which was built on annexed Palestinian land west of Dura town.
