The Israeli occupation army on Monday notified Palestinian citizens of its intent to demolish 10 homes belonging to them in the towns of Ni’lin and Deir Qaddis in the west of Ramallah.
Ni’lin mayor Emad al-Khawaja said that Israeli forces stormed his town and the nearby town of Deir Qaddis and delivered demolition orders against 10 homes.
Khawaja added that the homeowners possess legal construction permits issued by the Palestinian competent authorities but the Israeli army claims that these homes are located near barbed wire fences that separate the towns from nearby settlements.
