Israeli army threatens to raze farm cottages in Nablus

Wednesday 9-November-2022

The Israeli occupation army delivered on Wednesday demolition orders against agricultural and housing structures in southern Nablus and prevented the expansion of a road near Ramallah.

Chief of the Duma village council Suleiman said that his council received a final decision from the Israeli army ordering the demolition of a cattle farm and four holiday cottages located in the village at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

Ahmed Salawdeh who owns the cottages said that he was handed a final demolition notice against his structures after the objection he filed against a previous decision was rejected.

He added that the Israeli army would carry out the demolition measure on November 13.

In Ramallah the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Deir Nidham village and prevented the local council from continuing to expand a main road in the village.

The IOF also barred the Deir Nidham council from setting up a water network and confiscated a pump and a concrete mixer from the project site.
