The Israeli occupation army has announced its decision to appropriate 13 dunums of Palestinian land in Hizma town east of Jerusalem to build a new road.
According to local sources the new road will be one kilometer long and 16 meters wide and will be built on sections of agricultural lands belonging to local residents.
Local sources said that the new road would also isolate vast tracts of agricultural land from the town and prevent the owners from working their lands or harvesting crops without obtaining special access permits from the Israeli army.
